Jeremy Ford

Florida-born Chef Jeremy Ford discovered his passion for cooking at an early age, inspired by his maternal grandmother and drawn to the discipline of the professional kitchen. At just 16, he began his culinary career as a Garde Manger at Matthews in Jacksonville, where he developed the fundamentals that would shape his craft. His pursuit of knowledge soon took him to Los Angeles, where he trained under Christophe Eme at L’Orangerie and later Master Chef Joachim Splichal at Patina. Working in the demanding world of French fine dining, Ford refined his technique and developed a deep respect for precision, discipline, and the meticulous handling of exceptional ingredients.

Ford went on to become Executive Chef of the acclaimed Matador Room by Jean-Georges Vongerichten before gaining national recognition as the winner of Season 13 of Top Chef. Ford brings together technical precision and creativity with a thoughtful respect for the product. From mastering the fundamentals in Jacksonville to building a distinctive culinary portfolio of his own, his journey reflects a relentless curiosity and an enduring commitment to the craft.
