Born in Peru and shaped by a lifelong love of culture, travel, and hospitality, Mirella Flores brings more than a decade of culinary experience to her role as Executive Sous Chef – Resort Dining at The Boca Raton. Across the resort’s diverse collection of restaurants and dining experiences, she helps lead culinary operations while championing the people behind the plate. Her career has taken her through luxury hospitality, high-volume operations, restaurant openings, and team development, with leadership roles at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, and Seaview Hotel.

Mirella’s culinary perspective is deeply rooted in her Peruvian heritage and broadened by a passion for discovery. Having traveled to more than 40 countries, she draws inspiration from the cultures, ingredients, techniques, and traditions encountered along the way — experiences that have shaped her belief in food’s ability to bring people together. For Mirella, great hospitality is about more than what arrives on the plate; it is about the people who create it, the stories they share, and the memories they leave with every guest.
