Todd Graff, Winemaker
A cornerstone of Frank Family Vineyards for over two decades, Todd Graff has guided the winery’s rise as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Cabernet and Chardonnay. As Winemaker and General Manager, he also championed Frank Family’s Napa Green certifications for both land and winery—an achievement rooted in sustainability and craftsmanship. Todd’s global winemaking journey began in the storied slate vineyards of Germany’s Mosel, followed by formative chapters in Bordeaux, Australia, and Portugal, where he deepened his mastery of traditional sparkling methods.
Back in Napa Valley, Todd refined his approach at Stags’ Leap and Schramsberg Vineyards before joining Frank Family in 2003. Under his leadership, the winery has earned accolades including “Best Napa Winery” in both 2023 and 2024, while Todd himself was named “Napa Winemaker of the Year” by the North Bay Business Journal in 2020. Ever humble, Graff credits the vineyard, the team, and a lifelong curiosity for keeping each vintage better than the last.
