Since 1985, her hands-on leadership—rooted in graduate work at UC Davis and mentorship from icons like David Abreu and Bob Levy—has shaped the vineyard’s pursuit of excellence in both viticulture and philanthropy.

With early roots on the plains of South Dakota and a career that spanned public service, executive search, and graduate study at NYU, Shari brings a dynamic perspective to every vintage.
